Hello my Valued Subscribers and Customers.
I am happy to announce we are working on a significantly improved website.
You will be able to watch or listen to simplified explanations that AlerG has put together as well as an increased number of manufacturer supplied videos.
The website navigation and checkout is being simplified, security and privacy improved even further and much more.
As you can imagine an undertaking of this size is a prime target of "Murphy's Law" and we have been delayed due to many unexpected factors. We hope to be able to launch within a few weeks.
Please be assured that this does not affect the security and privacy of the existing site.
Thanks for your patience.

Look Attractive, Beat Price Increases & Allergies/MCS
It will help you feel happier. It is well known that when you feel good you LOOK MORE ATTRACTIVE. There is nothing more attractive than a genuine smile. Even the best looking person is not attractive if they are scowling or mean with those around them because they feel ill.
The #1 way to protect yourself from the increasing polluted environment is with the right air purifier. Read my beginners guide if you are unfamiliar with the reasons.

Get Ready for Pollen & Smog Season
As we head into warmer weather, the pollen count, smog level and even the amount of scented personal care products increases. For those of you who have seasonal allergies and/or sensitivities to smog or scents this time can be uncomfortable if you are not prepared.
The number one step is to ensure you have a safe place you can come home to where you can breathe freely. My air purifiers in particular the IQAIR GC have been a godsend. They have enabled me to sleep soundly no matter what the weather or air quality is like outside. Waking up with your body refreshed can make all the difference in the day and can help prepare you for the exposure you unavoidably have to face. Consider getting an air purifier for your office or other places you spend a significant amount of time. A smaller super quiet unit like the BlueAir 205C may be a good choice for a work environment.
Our Vanicream Sunscreen is the only sunscreen I have found that does not have that sickly sweet chemical smell that most other sunscreens do. Be sure to stock up on it both for yourself and friends.
Consider bringing a lightweight Breathing Mask to help in situations where you cannot avoid exposure. Our I can breathe line of masks are lightweight enough to be easily folded and has a unique ear loop attachment to make putting on and removal of the mask quick and discrete. The activated carbon inserts can trap up to 95% of particles and odors/scents. They are great for traveling and temporary relief from airborne irritants at public events.
The last thing is to remember to take vitamin mineral supplements, the antioxidant Vitamins C and E, Zinc and a B complex vitamin supplement is what I would recommend at a minimum to boost your immune system. You can also see your doctor and ask to have an analysis done to see if you are deficient in certain vitamins or minerals. Alkaline green supplements can also strengthen your immune system.

Spring Savings, Health and Updates
Spring is here! Use it to make a resolution to be healthier, happier and save money.
In the next newsletter and blog I will show you some methods I have tried/researched myself to achieve this. So keep tuned in. I am writing them now so hopefully the information will be up within a day or two.
I am a skeptic at heart and usually do not believe claims until I, or someone I trust has tried the products and methods. Since I have no idea if the product/method will make me better or worse until I try it, it takes time and sometimes I bear the distress personally if it doesn't work for me. Since we are all different YMMV (Your mileage may vary).
One thing I have discovered for sure is that STRESS is bad for anyone. That is why I always try to emphasize having a positive attitude. When I feel down, I take a break, relax and do fun things such as watch a movie that makes me laugh.
Clean air and water are also almost universally accepted as good for you.
So until next time - SMILE and LAUGH.

Healthy Happy Gifts for Valentine's
A healthy loved one is a happy loved one. Most people believe that they must give flowers, chocolates or power tools to their loved ones for Valentine’s Day. An air purifier or items that can minimize allergy or MCS EI symptoms may not even be thought of.
Whether it is for your husband/wife, family or even yourself a gift of health may well be the most treasured throughout the year long after the flowers or chocolates are gone.
That does not mean that flowers, chocolate or a nice card should not be included if you know the person likes it or expects to be able to show it off.
Some ideas to include with your card or other small gift include:- air purifiers- water purifiers- shower or bath filters- dust masks (we carry some very nice ones including silk)- dust mite or odor proof bedding- cleaning products electronic or sprays.
Remember to pamper yourself too. You can't truly show your love for others if you aren't happy with yourself or are feeling ill.
Since we stock our products and ship very quickly there is still plenty of time to order for delivery on the 14th. In fact for those leaving it to the last minute we can get In Stock items to them on time if ordered by 6pm PT on the 13th (Next Day Air)
We also have the option of sending it directly as a gift. The packing slip, if you specify it as gift does not have any prices and you can put a personalized message from you.
Happy preparations for Valentine’s Day. Another blog update on details and a Valentines gift section will be available by tomorrow.
Thanks for reading

Feb Newsletter and Site Improvements
I hope subscribers to the monthly Newsletter enjoyed reading the Jan 08 Newsletter
The February Newsletter which may go out as soon as Friday Feb 1, (if I am able to finish it and don't get writer's block ;-) ) will cover in greater depth ways of improving your health and wellbeing and will have a handy index link to the solutions/information and products that pertain to the newsletter.
As part of the AlerG.com website upgrades, we will now post the monthly newsletter on the site. However, the Hotdeals newsletter will not be posted and discount offers in the monthly newsletter will not appear on the publicly viewable version. This is because we usually have price restrictions placed on us by the manufacturer. If you are a subscriber please check your junk mailbox or allow your spam filter to receive e-mails from alerg.com.
Therefore I encourage you to sign up for the Newsletter here http://www.alerg.com/newsletters/subscribe.php to ensure you get the full version with discount offers. We never share your e-mail address. (not sure if you are signed up, just sign up again, duplicates are automatically detected.)
Our site upgrades are progressing well, but a little slower than we hoped due to some technical issues that we will resolve soon. Be assured that this will not affect our current site or order processing.
Here is a just partial list of some of the improvements you can expect:
- Finding solutions/product much more easily
- More information and pictures to help you decide what you need
- Faster easier checkout
- Continued increases in your security and privacy
- New products and great prices
and more ...
Thanks for reading see you back soon.

Happy New Year - Lets Be Healthier and Happier in '08
Happy New Year and Welcome to 2008!
As many of us do, I made some New Year resolutions. The most important one is to work on being healthier and happier this year. (not to mention add many great features and products to our website to help our customers feel healthier)
I finally got around to finishing the Jan '08 newsletter. Subscribers should be receiving it by the end of this weekend. So check your junkbox if you don't get it or click here for the AlerG Jan. 08 Newsletter to see it on our website.
The focus of the Newsletter is on how to feel better during this cold season and avoid congestion and illness.
Many thanks to all our loyal customers. I really do appreciate your support and business.
